DJ Cheekyhalf began spinning tunes as a founding member of multi-media event 'The Sewing Circle' .
She describes her style as 'Urban Eclectic' incorporating the best of her favourite electronic based genres along with Funk, Soul and Pop. Chameleon like she can shift her style to suit the occasion be it 'chilled out' or 'pumping'.
She has played venues all over London and beyond... Playing for club nights, opening for the band Alabama 3, and providing the soundtrack for private parties, weddings and the opening of designer Amanda Thompson's flagship store.
DJ Cheekyhalf has been resident at club nights Queen Bees (various London venues); The T club (Dalston Superstore); Lyrically Challenged (Passing Clouds) and Wicked Wednesday Jam (POW). Cheeky was one of the first DJs to play on Brixton Radio and her Friday Fish Fry show ran for over a year. A weekly residency in South London keeps her occupied between touring with Alabama 3 and taking up sporadic DJ gigs.
